Training

Community Mediation facilitators draw on 14 years of communication and conflict resolution experience to bring you one of the best training opportunities available in Maryland. Our experiential learning activities, coached role plays, and apprenticeship options gives you everything you need to know to mediate disputes and build your communication skills.

Types of Trainings

  • Basic Mediation Training – This is our complete training, and consists of 45 hours of classroom instruction, role play coaching, experiential learning activities, and individual feedback. It also includes apprenticeship opportunities (two observations and two mediations with an experienced co-mediator) and five hours of followup training.
